Here is this week's CST activities page, which has a theme of Spring. The first part of the activity is a memory quiz; the second a singalong.

There is a video of this CST activity, aimed at people with dementia living at home or in a home without access to a CST group, available here ...

Also, before we start just a reminder to visit my new website www.cstsongoftheday.co.uk , where you will find daily song recommendations for enjoyment and cognitive stimulation together with a short-form CST activity linked to the song.

And just to note I am an unpaid content creator who needs help covering (quite substantial) costs, so if you like and use my work you can buy me a coffee via this QR code link.

You could begin the session by using these discussion points to stimulate memory and thinking about Spring ...

Next, here are some 'Spring Sayings'. You could read each of them out and ask members to disucss their meanings ...

Our frst round proper is 'Facts About Spring'. Make sure to add time for moments of reminiscence and discussion ...

Here is the first song break ... (singalong link) https://youtu.be/sPpo0c2GVps?si=d4t2aFEmIE1q-nhC

I couldn't find a lyric video for this song, but there is a "La la la" chorus that members can get stcuk into ... https://youtu.be/wm31Lni60LU?si=HBwOf-rSV6a2kNcv

Here is a nice rendition of the poem ... https://youtu.be/ORvKwoA6IdA?si=pcWLX3MKjYxFV5qp
