Welcome to my September 2026 Calendar of Events – a month-by-month planner designed to help you prepare engaging Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST)Ā sessions and reminiscence activities.

Throughout September you'll find a wide variety of awareness days, anniversaries, seasonal events and fun celebrations that can be used as the starting point for conversations, quizzes, reminiscence, practical activities and, of course, music.

This calendar also forms the basis of my daily CST Song of the DayĀ blog. Each day I select songs linked to the date, helping facilitators use music to stimulate memories, encourage conversation, promote orientation and simply bring enjoyment. To make sure you don't miss a day, visit www.cstsongoftheday.co.ukĀ and subscribe for free to receive the daily updates.

For more comprehensive CST Activities, including themed activity packs, quizzes, discussion topics, reminiscence resources, games, practical ideas and printable materials linked to the month's major events, continue to visit www.simondementia.co.uk.

If you enjoy and regularly use these free resources, you can help support their continued development by leaving feedback, commenting on posts, rating the pages, sharing them with colleagues and friends, and, if you are able, making a small donation towards the running costs at www.buymeacoffee.com/simondementia. Every comment, rating, share and donation is genuinely appreciated and helps keep these resources freely available for everyone.

I hope these resources make planning your sessions easier and help bring stimulating, enjoyable and meaningful activities to the people you support.
