This is a discussion based activity based on reminiscence and story-telling. It is also aimed at members getting to know each other and feeling more valued from being better understood.

If members struggle with their memory and expression, you could ask their care partner to help them complete the questions prior to the session.

MY FIRST

What is your first memory?

What was your first ambition?

What is the first holiday you can remember?

Who was your first crush?

What was the first movie you went to see in the cinema?

What was the the first single or album you bought?

Who was your first pet?

What was your first car?

Where was your the first house you bought?

What is the first thing you would save from a fire?

MY LAST

What was the last concert or show you went to?

When was the last time you went to the pub or restaurant?

When was the last time you were at the seaside?

When was the last time you were up close to an animal or in nature?

When was the last time you exercised or played a sport (or went to see a sporting event)?

When was the last time you sang a song out loud or had a dance?

When was the last time you were really surprised by something?

When was the last time you tried something new?

When was the last time you were really excited about something?

When was the last time you cried laughing?

MY EVERYTHING
