Join my new 'CST Song Of The Day' website

Just to let you know, I have set up a new website www.cstsongoftheday.co.uk to host my daily CST Song Of The Day recommendations (to save space here). Don't worry, other CST activities will still be regularly uploaded here.

The idea of the 'CST Song Of The Day' is "Making Daily Song Recommendations for Enjoyment and Cognitive Stimulation". Each song recommendation will be linked to a high day, holiday, awareness day, anniversary etc to help aid orientation and a couple of simple "Have a think about ..." questions will be provided to help individuals and groups with memory recall and reminiscence.

The running order each day will be:

• What the day is, in terms of the theme for the session

• The CST Song Of The Day

• A discussion or memory recall based question for cognitive stimulation

• Suggestions for other songs and ideas linked to the day

Essentially, the new website will provide shorter form CST activities directly linked to musical memory to use with individuals and groups for a few minutes cognitive stimulation.
