Making a 'Paper Fortune Teller' (or "Cootie") is an easy and fun thing to do with your CST group. All the materials you need are thick paper, scissors and a colouring pen set. Really, it's a simple piece of origami, which you can make into beautiful artworks - don't forget to send photos of your in so they can be displayed in the 'Creative Arts Gallery'.

If you look on-line there are several guides as to how to make one - here is a good example, with instructions and a printable template ...

Once you have your template you can decide what to do with it. It could be something fun, like this ...

Or you could make something more artistic and creative, like these ...
Then there are animal versions to be made ...
For me, I see it as a good opportunity to make a creative tool together for discussion and reminiscence. Here's one I made earlier ...
I made a seasonal "Autumnal" version, with outside panel decorations being - bonfire (for 'Bonfire Night'), jack o'lantern (for 'Halloween'), corn on the cob (for 'Thanksgiving') & saltire (for 'St Andrew's Day').
My inside panel questions (you need 8) were -
What is your favourite "Thank You" song?
What are you most thankful for?
What is the scariest movie you ever watched?
What is your favourite autumnal smell or food?
What is your favourite autumnal walk?
Can you name 5 autumnal weathers?
Can you name 5 autumn occasions?
Name some things you like or love about Scotland?
And there you have it, a really easy "filler" which you can use to celebrate the changing seasons.
